Our Patriotic Soldiers Plaque, inspired by the quote of George Orwell in 1942, is created from an original wood carving by artist Al Pisano. The patriotic plaque reads: We sleep safe in our beds, because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm. This quote, also attributed to Churchhill, is a testament to the sacrifice our of country's soldiers to defend it's citizens. This wall plaque is hand cast and then hand painted and stained which captures all the detail of Al's original carving. The plaque measures 10 in x 13 in. There is a recessed area in the back for convenient hanging. Made in the USA. A fitting tribute to the military soldiers who defend our country.

USE OUTDOORS
All of our plaques and signs, tables, and lazy susans can be used outdoors. Most of our products are made in polyresin which is extremely durable and weatherproof. Everything we do is hand painted nad stained--and paint will fade over time but we do seal eveyrting is clear lacquer so it will alst for many years.
